I love taking meals I've enjoyed out and converting them into keto recipes at home, and that is what I did with this Keto Salami Pizza. This Pizza recipe is a take on the Salami Pizza I had at B-Squared in NYC and made to fit the keto diet.

Hard Salami
Low carb pizza sauce: I love the Rao's Marinara Sauce
Red onion slices
Jalapeno
Fresh Garlic
Sugar-free honey or maple syrup
Chili oil
🔪 Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a large bowl, whisk 4 eggs until foamy. Stir in 2 cups mozzarella cheese and 1-½ teaspoons Italian Seasoning.
- Using a rubber spatula, spread out egg and cheese mixture onto prepared baking sheet. Bake pizza crust for 20 minutes, or until crust lightly golden brown.
- Remove cheese crust from oven and spread pizza sauce over top.
- Top the sauce with remaining cup of shredded cheese, hard salami, red onion, jalapeno (if using), and garlic slices.
- Return pizza to the oven and bake 10 minutes, until the cheese on top has melted and edges are golden brown.
- Remove from oven and drizzle hot pizza with 1 tablespoon of sugar-free honey or maple syrup and chili oil.

Refrigerate: store leftovers in an airtight container up to 3 days.
Reheat: warm in the oven or air fryer at 350 degrees until heated through.
📖 Variations
- Vegetarian Twist: Replace hard salami with roasted vegetables like bell pepper, onions, and mushrooms, sprinkled with fresh herbs to finish.
- Fathead dough: if preferred, make this almond flour pizza crust to replace the chaffle crust.
- Make it meatier: add crumbled italian sausage (sweet or hot) to the pizza toppings.
- Mini pizzas: cook the egg and cheese pizza crust in the waffle iron, then top the chaffle with your toppings and bake in the oven until cheese is melted.
💭 Tips
- If your not keto, make a pizza dough recipe or buy a cauliflower pizza crust from the grocery store and top it with the same toppings!
- Remove the Italian Seasoning in the pizza dough and give it a different flavor. Try cajun or garlic and onion powder to change it up a little.
- Leave off the pizza sauce and instead, use a homemade salsa (low carb).
- Go ahead and make chaffles instead of a full-sized pizza crust and set up a chaffle bar where your family add their own favorite pizza toppings!
- Leave out the spicy flavors by omitting the chili oil and jalapeno and top it with hard salami and /black olives

Keto Salami Pizza

Ingredients
- 4 large eggs
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1½ teaspoon Italian Seasoning
- ¼ cup Margherita® Hard Salami
- ⅓ cup low carb pizza sauce
- 2 tablespoons red onion slices
- jalapeno slices , optional
- 1 clove garlic thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon sugar-free honey , or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon chili oil , optional
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
- In add 4 eggs to a large mixing bowl and whisk until foamy. Stir in 2 cups mozzarella cheese and 1-½ teaspoons Italian Seasoning.
- Spread out egg and cheese mixture on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes, or until crust is lightly brown and firm.
- Remove cheese crust from oven and spread pizza sauce over top.
- Top the sauce with remaining cup of shredded cheese, hard salami, red onion, jalapeno, and garlic slices.
- Return pizza to the oven and bake another 10 minutes, or until the cheese on top has melted.
- Drizzle hot pizza with 1 tablespoon of sugar-free honey or maple syrup and chili oil if desired.
