🙋 Recipe FAQ's
A classic po boy is traditionally served on toasted french bread and stuffed with fried meat or seafood. The sandwich is dressed with lettuce, tomato slices, pickles, and plain mayonnaise.
They are traditionally served hot.
In my opinion, Remoulade sauce, spicy condiment made with plain mayonnaise, horseradish, hot sauce, and other spices is the best.

I love popcorn shrimp! Never thought to use them for po' boys at home, but it makes so much sense! I'm digging the remoulade sauce as well. 🙂

Sounds great! I need to hind something equivalent to Seapak popcorn shrimp here in Australia. What would you recommend if shrimp is not available?
Shelby
You could use any protein you wanted with this remoulade and it would be delish. Maybe some other type of seafood or chicken in the sandwich. It would be sad if you couldn't find something similar to this in your country, its a great convenience on those busy nights!

How do I "shrimp it up"? We generally eat shrimp as an appetizer -- not usually fried unless it's "tempura." I do love shrimp in pasta. I've never thought to use the shrimp in a slider so thanks for giving me that idea. These poboy sliders look like a perfect meal for two!
Shelby
The great thing about this shrimp is you can bake them, they don't need to be fried and are nice and crispy and shrimpy! 🙂
