📖 Variations
While the classic peppermint vodka recipe involves infusing peppermint candies or candy canes into vodka, here are a few variations to consider:
- Chocolate Peppermint Twist: Add a hint of chocolate by incorporating cocoa nibs or chocolate shavings into the infusion.
- Spiced Peppermint: Infuse your vodka with cinnamon sticks or cloves for a spicy twist to the traditional peppermint flavor.
- Citrus Burst: Introduce a zesty touch by including lemon or orange peels alongside the peppermint candies during the infusion process.
💭 Tips
- Store in the mason jars or another sealed drink container until used up. This will last a long time in the fridge, if it even needs to last that long. 😉 .
- You can place this all in one jar as well, but it will take longer to sit.
- When I serve it, I crush up some of the peppermint discs then dip the tips of the shot glasses in a bit of light corn syrup before dipping the tops in the crushed peppermint.
