This Chocolate Pistachio Bread recipe is a delicious bread recipe that is a refreshing change from banana bread! This quick bread has a chocolate batter that is studded with semi sweet chocolate chips and chopped pistachios.
I love treats that aren't too sweet, and this recipe fits that bill perfectly. It makes a delicious snack, and goes great alongside a hot cup of coffee.

🥫Storage
Room temperature: store bread in an airtight container up to 4 days..
Freezer: store in an airtight container or wrap individual slices in plastic wrap and store in an airtight bag up to 3 months.
📖 Variations
Different Flavor Combinations: use white chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, or butterscotch chips in place of the semi-sweet chocolate chips.
Add ins: substitute your favorite nuts for the pistachios and add in some chopped dried cranberries.
Get zesty: chocolate and orange is a classic combination, add a teaspoon or two or orange zest to compliment the chocolate.
💭 Tips
- Be sure the cold ingredients are at room temperature before mixing ingredients. This prevents lumpy butter and curdled ingredients.
- Sprinkle a few extra nuts over top of the bread prior to baking for a cute presentation! You can also drizzle the loaf with melted chocolate to make it even fancier!
- Over mixing the batter can cause it to be tough, for this reason, gently fold the dry ingredients in with a wooden spoon until it is "just" combined.
- Deepen the flavor of the bread more by substituting brown sugar for the granulated sugar.
