🥘 Ingredients
Pizza Dough: you can either make your own pizza dough with this homemade pizza dough recipe, 2 Ingredient Pizza Dough, or use store-bought dough.
Pizza sauce: choose your favorite pizza or marinara sauce.
Shredded mozzarella cheese: I like to use low moisture part-skim mozzarella cheese
Canned pineapple tidbits: these will need to be drained and patted dry to remove any excess moisture
Canadian bacon or ham: you can use canadian bacon (which is similar to ham) or leftover ham.
Cornmeal: to dust the pizza pan before placing dough.
🔪 Instructions
- Follow instructions for homemade pizza dough or if using store-bought, remove the dough from the fridge and set in a warm place to bring to room temperature.
- Once pizza dough has doubled in size, remove dough ball to a lightly floured surface. Divide dough into 4 sections.
- Using a rolling pin, roll dough until each section is 8 inches in diameter.
- Dust the pizza pan with cornmeal and transfer pizza dough to the pan. Press dough evenly into the bottom of the pan.
- Preheat air fryer to 380 degrees F. Place pizza dough in the air fryer and cook for 4 minutes.
- Remove pizza dough from air fryer, and top evenly with ¼ cup sauce, ¼ cup shredded cheese spread evenly, ¼ cup of pineapple, and ¼ cup ham. Sprinkle ¼ cup of cheese on top of assembled pizza. Cook for another 6 minutes. Remove from air fryer and repeat.

📖 Variations
- Add more freshness to the pizza by using fresh cut pineapple pieces in place of canned.
- Substitute your favorite barbecue sauce for the pizza sauce.
- Add any of your favorite toppings, I like to add raw red onion and slices of bell peppers.
- Add caramelized onions to the pizza toppings for a richer flavor.
💭 Tips
- Pineapple chunks can be used in place of tidbits, just cut them into smaller pieces before topping the pizza.
- Use a paper towel and press any excess moisture from the pineapple before using on the pizza.

🏫 The last word
Canadian bacon and ham are not exactly the same thing, but both come from the pig. Canadian bacon is a loin cut, and usually is bought in slices. It has fewer carbs and less sodium than regular ham. Ham comes from the leg or butt of the pig. It is saltier and can have stronger flavors. Both will work on this pizza, just use what you prefer!
