❤️ Why you'll love it
Easy to make: rollups require no cooking and are as easy as spreading the filling and rolling up the tortilla!
Simple ingredients: no fuss ingredients list here, just fresh veggies, seasoned cream cheese, and flour tortillas.
Mexican appetizers: these tortilla roll ups are the perfect addition to Mexican themed parties or dinners
🥘 Ingredients
Cream cheese: needs to be room temperature for easy blending.
Sour cream: choose a good quality thick cream cheese. Trader Joe's and Publix brand are excellent!
Fresh salsa: buy fresh salsa at the grocery store or make your own homemade salsa recipe.
Taco seasoning: I make my own homemade taco seasoning but you can buy your favorite brand from the grocery store if you wish.
Red and yellow bell peppers: choose fresh peppers that are firm.
Jalapeno pepper: green bell pepper can be used if heat tolerance level is low.
Black olives: these add a distinct briny flavor that is delicious, use green olives if preferred or they can be left out.
Sharp cheddar cheese: for this recipe I choose to buy pre-shredded cheese as it stays separate better than if you shred your own.
Flour tortillas: you can make your own homemade flour tortillas, or buy your favorite flavored tortilla. I used Habanero tortillas from Trader Joe's as they have spicy flavor that I love.

- Use sweet and spicy canned jalapenos in place of the fresh jalapeno pepper.
- Substitute habanero or pepper jack cheese for the cheddar cheese.
- Make this a low carb recipe by using low carb tortillas.
- You can also reduce the amount of fat by using reduced fat cream cheese and light sour cream.
- Add juice of 1 lime and lime zest to the cheese filling for added flavor.
💭 Tips
- If the tortillas are too stiff to roll, warm them up for 5-10 seconds (all of them at once) to soften. Then allow to cool slightly before proceeding.
