❤️ Why you'll love it
Classic comfort food: a beef recipe combined with tomato pasta dish makes a great dinner in one pot to warm the soul!
Easy meal prep: it is a big batch recipe that is easy to make ahead and reheat later.
Simple ingredients: a combination of hamburger meat, veggies, and elbow macaroni make a simply delicious meal.
🥘 Ingredients
Olive oil
Garlic cloves: I prefer to use fresh garlic, however garlic powder can be substituted for the cloves.
Yellow onion
Green pepper: green bell peppers have a bitter flavor and can be substituted with a sweeter pepper such as red, orange, or yellow bell pepper.
Ground beef: I prefer a leaner ground beef. Use at least an 85/15 or 90/10 meat to fat ratio.
Worcestershire sauce
Chili powder
Sweet paprika
Italian seasoning
Salt and black pepper
Chicken or vegetable broth
Diced tomatoes: you can also use stewed tomatoes, just coarsely chop them up when adding to the meat sauce.
Tomato paste: used to thicken and add a deeper tomato flavor to the sauce.
Elbow macaroni: dried pasta that will be cooked until just before al dente.
