This iced bulletproof coffee recipe is one of my favorite ways to enjoy a high fat cold drink. With just 3 net carbs per serving, it is a good choice to start the day and a way to add healthy fats to your ketogenic diet.

Brewed strong organic coffee, hot (needs to be hot to melt the butter)

🔪 Instructions
- Place freshly brewed hot coffee, and all other ingredients in a blender and blend.
- Allow the hot coffee to come to room temperature, then chill in the fridge for 4-6 hours or overnight.
- Before serving, shake the coffee container or return the the blender to make sure all ingredients are fully incorporated. Serve over ice cubes.

- Mct oil, coconut oil, or grass-fed ghee can be substituted for the butter.
- Substitute half of the heavy cream for coconut milk or almond milk.

- Add ½ teaspoon vanilla extract for a vanilla flavored coffee.
- You can drink this drink hot also! After it has been blended, just pour in your mug and enjoy!

- Be sure to shake the coffee well to make sure all the ingredients are incorporated, before pouring into the glass of ice.
- You will need hot coffee in order to melt the butter and to easily blend the oils to make the drink creamy. Use caution when blending the hot liquid.
- Make a double batch of coffee and freeze one batch in an ice cube tray to use as in the coffee.
- MCT oil can cause problems with the gut, so if you are new to MCT oil, start out with a teaspoon, then gradually increase as your body adjusts to it.
