Room temperature: store in an airtight container up to 5 days.
Freezer: store in a freezer safe container up to 3 months.
📖 Variations
- Substitute andes mints or mint chocolate chips for the junior mints.
- Junior mints also make specialty flavors! Try the junior caramel or peppermint crunch in place of the mint.
- Stir in ½ teaspoon peppermint extract for a more intense mint flavor.
💭 Tips
- To measure flour, use a tablespoon and stir the flour, then lightly spoon flour into the dry measuring cup. Do not tap cup, this will pack too much flour. Rather, once cup is filled, use the handle of the tablespoon to scrape across the top of the measuring cup, removing excess flour from cup.

Oh! You found my weak spot with this one... I am a chocolate monster and I am certain I could eat a whole pan of this exceedingly moist looking batch of brownies! The addition of the choco-mints is a nice touch! Mint chocolate treats have always been one of my weaknesses... Glutton that I can be, I used to eat entire boxes of "After-Eight" mints in one sitting 🙂 Gulp!
