Shelby, I'm always in awe of people who fry their own doughnuts. These look amazing! And I'm sure they taste just as good as your mom's…although I know what you mean, every time I make one of my mom's specialities, I never think it tastes up to par. I love how crispy the outside of the doughnuts look - delicious!
