Preheat oven to 350 degrees.In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate on high for 30 seconds, stirring after 15 seconds, microwave chocolate chips in 15 second intervals until melted.
Add sugar, vanilla, egg, and egg white to the melted chocolate, mixing with an electric mixer, until well blended.
In a large bowl, combine flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to chocolate mixture, stirring until just blended.
Spoon brownie batter into 8-inch square baking pan coated with cooking spray.
Bake for 20 minutes. Cool completely pan of brownies on wire rack. This will take about 2 - 3 hours to cool completely.
For the brownie pops
Crumble and place brownies in the bowl of a food processor. Process into fine crumbs by using the pulse function.
To dip in chocolate
Place candy coating in microwaveable bowl and microwave per package instructions.
Dip pops into melted chocolate, allowing any excess chocolate drip to fall off into the bowl. Dredge brownie pops in nuts and place on an aluminum foil lined baking sheet and refrigerate until set.
